Earth-Link Origins was conceived in 2009 by Chris Kroznuski and Chris Cameron to create an original sci-fi universe. Originally under the title of "Earth-Link Zero," Earth-Link Origins tells a vast story about the interstellar war between the benevolent Earth Empire and the vengeful Morningstar Pirates.

The story is set in the year 4198 AD and is told from both sides of the struggle. In the Earth Empire, a young, gifted commander named Zero struggles with achieving command of his own starship while looking after his troublesome brother, Aiden. Meanwhile, Jupiter the Unstoppable, venerable leader of the Morningstar Pirates, strikes a deal with a stranger named Endymion, a mysterious man with superhuman abilities, to help his people gain a tactical advantage over the Empire.
